I was fortunate that a flooring rep directed me to DeMar. This store has BY FAR the best selection of samples across all flooring types - vinyl, lvp, hardwood, and carpet. I have been to almost every major showroom in the San Diego metro area. This wholesaler is not one to miss. If you go, look for an kind gentleman named Ted! He’s wonderful, as were his colleagues.

We recently had a great experience working with DeMar and their recommended installer. When I came in and told Ted what I was looking for, he pulled out a few samples and I found a few too. My husband and I quickly decided that one he suggested was perfect - a medium color Pecan engineered hardwood. Ted offered what I thought was a fair price and ordering the product was seamless. His preferred installer Fermin gave us peace of mind from the moment he came to measure and quote. Working with him was one of our best experiences we've ever had with a tradesperson. He was calm and professional throughout what turned out to be a little bit of a nightmare project: we found old asbestos flooring from the 1970s underneath, and also started a kitchen renovation because of that. We're a week out from finishing the kitchen so our house is still in construction mode but the floors so far look incredible and we're very happy.

DeMar flooring is really priced competitively. I went to many flooring stores and this place had really good quality stuff with very good pricing. Their prices are labeled so you don't feel ripped off. The two sales guys were super nice and informative. I'd recommend this place for sure. It's a little hard to find because of the glass building but just look up for the signage and you'll eventually see them.

They don't do the installation but if you already have an installer it's perfect because you wont feel like you have to go with their installers like the other stores I went to.
